A Message from the Headteacher -  15th May 2015

Hello everyone,

This coming Friday (22nd May) is a busy day...

  1. Year 4/5 Class Worship

On Friday (22nd May) it is the turn of our Year 4/5 class to ‘take Worship’. Mrs Simpson’s Class have been putting a presentation together for all the school to watch.

As usual all parents and carers are invited to watch all our Friday Worships, however, if you are a parent / carer of a Year 4/5 pupil, we would like to especially invite you into school to watch the Year 4/5 Class Worship. It will take place in the school hall, starting at the usual time of 2.55pm - lasting until the end of school. Please take a seat at the back of the hall if you can join us!!

  1. Half Term Holiday

... also this Friday, we break up for our two week May Half Term. We finish at 3.25/3.30pm and then return to school on Monday 8th June at 8.55am with the doors opening at the usual time of 8.45am. Let’s hope that the sun is shining!!

  1. Non Uniform Day on Friday

...and we are asking the children to come into school in whatever clothes they want on the 22nd...and in return we ask you to send in a suitable item for a Tombola Stall. It can be a bottle, a toy, a DVD, a small item of jewellery...anything you want...all we ask is that it is new!! The items will then be donated to the ‘Friends’ who will use them for the Summer Fair on 11th July. Thank you!!

Our latest Prospectus is now out...you can download a copy of it by clicking on the Policy Page section of this website...

I am delighted to announce that it has been agreed by the School’s Governing Body that, Tarleton Holy Trinity can revert back to a one-form entry school in September 2015, i.e. one class for each year group. We will soon be looking to appoint a ‘new teacher to work in our Year 3 class, but the plan for September is as follows:

A Brief note about our School

We have a very successful Breakfast Club and After School Club housed on site.

Judged by OFSTED as a good school in 2013, we offer a creative curriculum based very much on outdoor learning.

We have a proactive and supportive Governing Body and a busy Friends of the School.

Our website is under development and has two purposes:-

  • To provide information about our school for any parents considering applying for a place for their child.
  • To act as an information bank for our existing parents, to which they can refer for holiday details, copies of relevant forms and the weekly newsletter.

...all at the touch of a few keys!!

We hope you will find this site useful...and I'll be asking you as to your thoughts about our website as it 'evolves'!!

Please note that all the significant school policies are available to view on this website, and this includes our lastest School Prospectus and our Pupil Premium and PE Funding Statements. All our latest Policies etc. can be viewed by 'clicking' the policy 'pencil' although one or two policies are still on other pages!!
