A Message from the Headteacher -  1st July 2015

Hello everyone,

WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!! Well done to our TAG Rugby Team as they won the Lancashire Championship Tournament on Monday...see below for photos!!

Bishop Phillip, the 'new' Bishop of Burnley joined us in school last week and led our Worship in the afternoon. Bishop Phillip told us all about the role of the Bishop and how his staff links with Jesus being the Good Shepherd. Have a look at the Christian School section of the website to see the photos.

The Infants' Teddy Bear's Picnic photos are also on website...click on my Blog to see them...and they were in the Ormskirk Champion Newspaper last Wednesday...our 32nd article in the papers since September 2013 (not that I'm counting)!!

And also have a look at the YR and Y4/5 Class Stories...the Year 4/5 Worship photos are there and the Reception Class' Butterflies.

Some children have spotted our School Teddies already...Peter in our reception class wrote me a lovely letter to say where they are...and one of our other pupils sent in photo evidence!!...see if you can spot them...and let me know!!

Thanks for reading, yours sincerely,

Stephen B. Smith

A Brief note about our School

We have a very successful Breakfast Club and After School Club housed on site.

Judged by OFSTED as a good school in 2013, we offer a creative curriculum based very much on outdoor learning.

We have a proactive and supportive Governing Body and a busy Friends of the School.

Our website is under development and has two purposes:-

  • To provide information about our school for any parents considering applying for a place for their child.
  • To act as an information bank for our existing parents, to which they can refer for holiday details, copies of relevant forms and the weekly newsletter.

...all at the touch of a few keys!!

We hope you will find this site useful...and I'll be asking you as to your thoughts about our website as it 'evolves'!!

Please note that all the significant school policies are available to view on this website, and this includes our lastest School Prospectus and our Pupil Premium and PE Funding Statements. All our latest Policies etc. can be viewed by 'clicking' the policy 'pencil' although one or two policies are still on other pages!!
